We meet with clients both at the gallery and on location to discuss artwork selection and placement, frame ideas, and budgets. Each commercial project is assigned a staff member to offer personal and professional assistance throughout the project duration. From the first meeting, we strive to work within the proposed budget while meeting the individual framing needs of our clients.
We are pleased to work with your interior designer although, with over 50 years of experience spread among our staff members, we are well equipped to assist clients through the design process.
Every staff member is familiar with the framing process, beginning with the selection of artwork and framing options and ending with a finished, framed piece. From chopping and joining frames, to mounting artwork, to cutting glass and fitting pieces into frames, nearly the entire process is completed on location. Each piece is carefully examined for quality control prior to being filed for pickup or delivery.
Quality Framing
We provide our clients with artwork framed according to the latest conservation methods to keep office walls looking fresh longer. Acid-free hinging, matting and backing are employed rather than their acid counterparts; this keeps mat edges and artwork from turning brown and brittle. We always suggest and regularly use treated glass to stave off the damaging effect of UV rays on artwork. These techniques help artwork and their surrounding mats retain their original coloring and protect them from the elements for years to come.
Hundreds of quality wood frame corner samples adorn six sliding doors and the remaining wall space behind our front design counter. Further samples are stowed in drawers beneath the counter and on extra wall space in the shop behind the gallery area. New additions to our collection frequently arrive from reputable frame companies including our partner, Larson-Juhl, providing us an extensive selection of frames available to our clients.
Beautiful Selection
Beach, shore, and sailing images may be the main focus of our artwork inventory, but our clients are frequently surprised at the wide variety of other subjects available; our stock ranges from landscape to still-life and figurative. Still, it is not uncommon to pull artwork from outside sources to supplement our selection. Catalogs are available for clients to browse for images in an assortment of subjects available in posters and fine art prints. Our goal is to ensure each piece of artwork within your order is harmonious to the whole and specific to your business needs.
