About Us

Main Street Gallery was founded by artist Lea Colie Wight in 1979. Our current location in Manasquan, New Jersey showcases many local and regional artists and houses custom framing operations behind the gallery portion of the business. Voted one of the best galleries in Monmouth and Ocean counties, Main Street Gallery strives to maintain that position. As one of the largest galleries in the shore area, we are proud to offer a wide variety of quality artwork specializing in shore and sailing images. We display an array of works in watercolor, oil, pastel, serigraph, etching, lithograph, and print.

A message from Lea:

Part of what makes Main Street Gallery unique is our drive to inform those who come in contact with the gallery about fine art processes, the framing process, and any other subject familiar to our staff. We welcome inquisitive customers. The motto we teach new staff members translates to customers as well: ask questions! It is an easy and effective way of learning something new. And, if we don't know the answer to your question, we'll do our best to point you in the right direction.

Everyone at the gallery is willing to share their knowledge and, in turn, look for the opportunity to expand their horizons.
