Main Street Gallery works with a qualified restoration artist who has done work with major museums in New York City as well as individuals up and down the Jersey Shore. He offers the following restoration services:

We follow a specific procedure with our restoration artist due to the demand for his work. Each piece in need of restoration is unique and must be viewed by the restorer to accurately quote the cost of repair. We ask that interested customers leave their artwork at the gallery along with the best daytime phone number where they may be reached. The restorer will view the artwork at the gallery, citing the specific process he recommends for proper preservation of each piece.
We immediately try to contact our customers so they might speak directly over the phone to the restorer, and better understand the restoration processes required for their piece. If we are unable to contact a customer while the restorer is here, we will leave a message and safely store the artwork in our gallery until we receive a call either accepting or declining the proposed restoration. The restorer will not take any artwork or frames before receiving a confirmation call from our customer along with a deposit for the labor.
There is no charge to receive a quote for restoration. Quotes will be honored for up to one year assuming the piece is in the same condition as when the quote was received. Restoration is a time-consuming process; a seemingly simple repair can easily take a month to complete, while more intricate procedures can take more time.
Please direct any additional questions to the Main Street Gallery staff.
